"Becoming Her is the thing I wish I had — a source of calm hope that I could thrive in motherhood.. I didn’t want to bounce back—I wanted to feel whole."

My motherhood journey began two years after my wedding, two years after losing my first pregnancy. I held my first newborn—and in a beautiful, chaotic blur, two more little souls followed in quick succession. By the end of this year, I’ll have four babies in four years. My body, mind, and spirit carrying the weight of it all.

Even with nearly a decade as a personal trainer and coach, motherhood brought me to my knees in ways I never expected. Pregnancy was the first time I truly felt deep love and appreciation for my body, but with each postpartum season, it became harder to hold onto that grace. The sleepless nights, the constant demands, the relentless pace of life—it all compounded. I became short-tempered, reactive, and jagged at the edges, unable to regulate my children’s tantrums because I was fighting my own. I lost trust in myself, doubted my competence, and felt powerless to change.

Life didn’t pause to let me recover. Financial struggles, relationship strain, loss, grief, and hormonal swings—they all stacked up until I reached a breaking point. I knew better, but I wasn’t living better. And I could see the weight of my unhealed stress spilling into my family.

The shift didn’t happen overnight. It came through small steps towards big dreams. Through discarding what wasn’t aligned (previous goals, limiting beliefs, bad habits), and through embracing the Wabi Sabi philosophy—accepting imperfection, finding beauty in the unfinished, and learning to meet myself with compassion. I began rebuilding not from pressure, but from peace. My nervous system softened, my strength returned, and my sense of self grew steadier. I went from feeling powerless to grounded, from reacting in survival mode to leading with calm, clarity, and confidence.

Becoming Her is the program I wish I’d had in those early years—a calm, sustainable framework for reconnecting to your body, energy, and identity after motherhood.
